Other people have posted their own personal threads in here. I'm just copying off of them and doing the same. Also the second username is what I go by mostly on Discord/YouTube/Twitch (though I made my nickname on this website's Discord the same as my forum username)

I'm giving it one more week until I actually announce winners for last minute stuff but here are the animes and video games I've watched/played during this pretty horrid year

    Anime:
    Assassination Classroom (Toonami; ongoing)
    Fire Force S2 (Toonami; ongoing)
    Fairy Tail (Funimation streaming; ongoing)
    Naruto Shippuden (Toonami; ongoing)
    Dragon Ball Super (Toonami)
    Black Clover (Toonami; ongoing/on hiatus)
    Pokemon Journeys (Netflix; ongoing)
    Serial Experiments Lain (Funimation streaming)
Sword Art Online Alicization (Part 1, War of Underworld Part 1 & Part 2; Toonami; War of Underworld Part 2 ongoing)
    My Hero Academia (S3 & S4; Toonami)
Digimon Fusion S3 (Crunchyroll; english subbed)
    Digimon Tri Movies (DVD)
    Digimon Last Evolution Kizuna (DVD)
Danganronpa animes (S1 & the 2 Danganronpa 3 animes; DVD)
    Burst Angel (DVD)
Puella Magi Madoka Magica (& the movies; Blu Ray)
Code Geass R1 & R2 (Funimation streaming; rewatch)
Code Geass Akito the Exiled OVAs (& Lelouch of the Resurrection movie; Funimation streaming/DVD)
    Fractale (Funimation streaming; ongoing)

    Video Games:

Spyro Reignited Trilogy (PS4; 3 Platinums)
    Smash Ultimate (Switch)
    Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4)
    Yo Kai Watch 3 (3DS)
    Yoshi's Crafted World (Switch)
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy (PS4; Platinum)
    Undertale (Switch)
Final Fantasy Type 0 HD (PS4; Platinum)
    Pokemon Sword (& DLC) (Switch)
    Tales of Berseria (PS4)
    Tales of Zestiria (PS4)
World of Final Fantasy (w/ Maxima add-on) (PS4; ongoing)

So those are the nominees obviously. Feel free to share your own lists/personal awards. See you all next week for the winners. I swear I haven't already decided.

I just thought of a better idea. I'll reveal winners one day at a time from now until New Year's until AOTY and GOTY get revealed (AOTY= Anime of the Year; GOTY= Game of the Year)

I'll start with Anime first. Why? Because this is an anime forum duh. lol.

    Special Awards first.

Serial Experiments Lain wins Special Award for 'Weirdest Anime of the Year' (MAL: https://myanimelist.net/anime/339/Serial_Experiments_Lain)

This anime made absolutely no sense whatsoever. I understood absolutely nothing that was going on from start to finish. I can't even explain the plot to you. Because I didn't understand it myself. Nothing made sense. At all. From start to finish. I feel like this was the point though. Because it's a mind f anime from everything I've heard similar to Paranoia Agent and stuff like that. So it not making sense wasn't that much of a surprise really. But I enjoyed the ride that was this anime. I guess.

Do I recommend? Sure. If you like stuff that doesn't make any sense and you like mind f animes. lol

My Hero Academia S4 wins Special Award for 'Best Anime I watched on Toonami' (MAL: https://myanimelist.net/anime/38408/Boku_no_Hero_Academia_4th_Season)

This franchise never disappoints me. Ever. The only bad thing about this is that it got constantly put on hiatus/delayed because of that god damn COVID. But each episode always ended up being well worth the wait. The first part 12-13 episodes were FIRE. There's no other way to put it. Best arc since All for One arc. I mean it's not like I hated the arc afterwards. Because I didn't. But the first part of S4 was the best part.

Do I recommend? YES. NOW GO WATCH THIS AMAZING FRANCHISE.

Fairy Tail wins Special Award for 'Best ongoing anime I haven't finished yet' (MAL: https://myanimelist.net/anime/6702/Fairy_Tail)

Why the hell did I sit on this anime? Seriously? WHY?! I shouldn't have. It's SO DAMN GOOD. Each arc is better than the last (except for filler arcs I guess but even the one I recently got through was still pretty freaking good). MAL has a lot of mixed reviews for this one but I ignore reviews for the most part. For me, IMO, they are all MASSIVELY wrong. I mean yeah I'll admit that it tends to rely on 'the power of friendship' similarly to Rave Master (it's done by the same creator so you really shouldn't except something massively different) but it's just so good with great characters and lots of funny moments that it really makes up for cheesy or cringy 'power of friendship' moments IMO. It's just great in general. Am I biased? Maybe. But I'm enjoying it so that's really all that matters to me.

Do I recommend? YES. PLEASE WATCH THIS AMAZING SERIES. If you like Black Clover it's similar in a lot of ways to it so you may like this as well. Up to you in the end.

That's all for my Anime Special Awards. The true my own personal awards for Anime begin tomorrow.

Hello again. Now that I've given my special awards for anime... it's time for my special awards for video games.

Now due to the fact that I didn't play as many video games as anime I watched (because I never do)... that means that some of the games that win special awards are still viable to be in my final list for GOTY. I always watch a lot of anime every year so the animes that I gave special awards to in my previous post aren't in my final list for AOTY. Just so everyone knows.

    With that said... let's begin.

Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4) wins 'Disappointment of the Year' (https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/718920-kingdom-hearts-iii)

Look I didn't hate this game okay? Really... I didn't. It was just... a MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT. Which is putting it mildly and is me putting it very nicely. I could be much harsher on this game. But I won't. Because I'm still a fan of this franchise and probably always will be. I just hope something like this doesn't happen ever again.

Here comes the opinion aspect from me now. The gummi ship was expanded far too much. I got lost most of the time and finding blueprints was a pain in the ass. I liked it much better in KH1 & KH2. Also... the worlds in the game not only weren't enough but they weren't as 'large' as they claimed and advertised them as being. Also... the story was kinda meh. I mean I kind of don't care about story in general when it comes to games it just depends on the situation. The gameplay was fun and I always had a fun time battling. Until the endgame I guess where it became a bit overly difficult but it's whatever. Oh... and let's not forget about that BS Avengers Infinity War-like ending. It was pretty much a middle finger and basically 'now you have to wait another 10 years for a resolution lul' which just made me... angry. Again putting it lightly.

So yeah... congratulations Kingdom Hearts 3. You get mentioned after all. But not the way you probably wanted. You were a major disappointment.

Do I recommend it? I mean... I guess? If you like the other KH games you'll probably like this one too. The gameplay is fun but that's about it. Just be prepared to be disappointed. IMO I guess.

Pokemon Sword (Switch) wins 'Most Fun Game' (https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/switch/259372-pokemon-sword)

Oh boy. Now this is controversial. I could probably write a college thesis about this game if I wanted to. But no one wants to read that and I won't do it. TL;DR... there were A LOT of complaints about this game and IMO... they were all BS and whiny. This was the most fun Pokemon game I've played in a VERY LONG TIME. The most fun Pokemon game I've played since probably X/Y. Every time I played it I had fun. The DLC was fun too. ESPECIALLY Crown Tundra. CALYREX NEW BEST LEGEND. This game was so much more fun than S/M/US/UM it really wasn't even close for me. Gyms>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Trials forever and always. Regardless this game was just too damn fun not to get this award. Don't like it?

    lol U MAD?

Do I recommend it? YES. But the average person will probably say no and tell you to avoid it like the plague. I say the opposite. Embrace it. Love it. PLAY IT.

Tales of Zestiria (PS4) wins 'Hardest Game of the Year' (https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/168513-tales-of-zestiria)

I still have no idea why I slept on this series and played only Symphonia and the sequel everyone hated except for me. But that's not the point. This game is similar to Pokemon Sword too. At least in the sense that it got bashed on and complained about way to much. I loved it. Characters are great, gameplay is 'good enough' and it was just an overall great experience. But the difficulty got overly ridiculous at times. Berseria is much easier that's for sure. The only good thing is that when you lose you can retry immediately. But depending on the boss even that doesn't really help all that much. I lost quite a bit in this game. I lost count of how many Game Over's I got. But they were always against some bosses. I mean sure some of them were optional so I chose to fight them so I only have myself to blame. But the final bosses, and the final endgame dungeon of Alisha DLC, was probably the most ridiculous BS gaming thing I dealt with the entire year.

Final story boss legitimately took me 5 attempts just to beat. And some enemies in Alisha DLC endgame dungeon are pretty much unfightable so I had to run away from everything near the end. It didn't ruin my experience with the game though. For the most part anyway. I'm just saying that this game is hard and overly ridiculous in terms of difficulty at times. Which can be a good thing I guess if you like hard stuff. I just don't. For the most part anyway.

Do I recommend it? Yes because it's not as bad as everyone claims it is. Just be prepared for many moments of frustration to occur. But I managed to beat it and Alisha DLC. So if I can do it you can too.

Alright the special awards have been given out. Sometime over the weekend or sometime next week I'll reveal my actual list for AOTY and GOTY.

We're starting with AOTY. Because this is an anime forum so duh of course that's what I'll start with.

I'll be completely honest... this wasn't the greatest year for anime. That was last year (Dr. Stone, Fire Force S1 & Demon Slayer) It's been mostly a 'meh' year for anime. That should change drastically next year though. But I'll get to that at a later time.

For now... here is my official list for Anime of the Year 2020. I go by what I watch in the year. So there may be series that didn't actually air this year. That's just how it is and, for me anyway, it just makes sense to go by what you watch in the year.

    Regardless...

*Overall Special Mention Award: Danganronpa animes (https://myanimelist.net/anime/16592...Gakuen_to_Zetsubou_no_Koukousei_The_Animation) (you can find the rest in the 'sequel' area on the page)

Now don't get me wrong... the games are better and I strongly recommend you play the games to get the full experience. However... I'll admit the anime did a 'good enough' job of covering the first games content. I also liked the two Danganronpa 3 animes. Because it showed and explained A LOT of the content that the games didn't really cover fully. It's unfortunate they didn't do an anime version of Danganronpa 2 or Ultra Despair Girls but the games are meant to be played anyway I suppose. Regardless... the differences don't really matter too much. In the games it's just 'Ultimates' whereas in the anime is just 'Ultimate High School' so they made it longer in the anime but it's whatever.

Either way I really enjoyed the anime for this and it's one of the better 'anime based off a video game' series. Of course I haven't watched the Ace Attorney anime yet and there's another one coming too so we'll see how long that lasts. lol

Do I recommend? Yessir I do. Play the games too. They're great. Just don't get too attached to the characters. The reason? Um... just don't.

#3 Digimon Tri Movies (https://myanimelist.net/anime/25687/Digimon_Adventure_tri_1__Saikai) (you can find the rest in the 'sequel' area on the page)

This Digimon comeback is seriously the best that could happen to me. It really is. This series and show is just great. It really is. The only reason it's so low on my list is because the movies kind of go up and down. Well that and the fact that there was really nothing else that really 'stood out' for me this year. Movies 1-3 are OUTSTANDING. Movies 4-5 go down a little bit but are still good enough. Movie 6 (final) has it go back up for the conclusion.

This Digimon comeback is still continuing and I hope it never stops. Because this underrated franchise deserves to stay. I mean one of the games won GOTY for me last year!! Never stop Digimon. Because I will always love and support you. ALWAYS.

    DIGIMON ARE THE CHAMPIONS

Do I recommend? YES. WATCH IT. EMBRACE IT. LOVE IT. BE A DIGIMON FAN. JOIN US.

*coughs* Okay I'm done. I swear. maybe

#2 (AOTY Runner-Up) Puella Magi Madoka Magica (& movies) (https://myanimelist.net/anime/9756/Mahou_Shoujo_Madoka★Magica) (movies are in 'alternative version' and 'sequel' area on the page)

This was probably one of the more unique animes I watched all year. Definitely the most unique 'magical girl' anime I've ever watched. But that doesn't say all that much because that's not really a franchise I watch a lot of. Regardless... this one really got me. Several times. I have NEVER hated something as much as I did in this anime WITH THAT GOD DAMN KYUBEY. The movies are pretty good too but don't show as much as the anime does. The first 2 movies are basically recaps of the series and Movie 3 is a sequel.

I can't really talk about Movie 3. Why? Well... something like that... needs to be experienced yourself. Just trust me on this. It does. Or don't. Whatever. Let's just say... that despite the way that it ends... Kyubey finally gets it's proper punishment. That's practically the only reason I accepted Movie 3's ending.

I certainly understand why everyone hyped it up so much now.

Do I recommend? Yep. Just... be prepared to want to dive into your TV screen wanting to choke a cat-like creature.

Anime of the Year 2020 (#1)

Code Geass: Akito the Exiled (https://myanimelist.net/anime/8888/Code_Geass__Boukoku_no_Akito_1_-_Yokuryuu_wa_Maiorita) (you can find the rest in the 'sequel' area on the page)

OH MY GOD. THIS SERIES. WAS SO DAMN GOOD. I'd even argue that it was exceedingly better than the Code Geass anime!! Not even joking. The runtimes are long... (about an hour for each OVA/Special/Movie/whatever you feel like calling it) but it was SO WORTH IT each time I watched one.

Characters were great. Story was great. JUST OVERALL SO GOOD. IT EVEN HAS A HAPPY ENDING. Which is pretty much the exact opposite of the main Code Geass anime. I just really enjoyed the hell out of this series/special/OVA/movies/whatever. It stood out the most of all the animes I watched this year. It really did. So I think it deserves this win but just me clearly.

Do I recommend? YES. AND MORE YES. STARTING WATCHING IT. (though I recommend watching the Code Geass animes first if you haven't watched it yet because it'll make more sense to watch it first)

Alright that's it. That's my list for Anime of the Year 2020. Unfortunately I'm going to have to delay my GOTY list but I'll post it ASAP. Maybe Tuesday or tomorrow morning or something. Depends on what I feel like doing I guess.

I know it's still in the morning (in my time zone anyway) but I'm going to go ahead and reveal my list for Game of the Year 2020. Mostly because I'm going to be busy for the rest of the day today and I want to do a stream tomorrow so this is probably the only time I'm going to have to do it.

So yeah here we go. My list for Game of the Year for 2020. Exactly like Anime of the Year 2020, I go by the games that I played this year so that means there may be games that didn't technically come out this year. I've been recommended A LOT of games for the past couple of years/months so expect games that came out years ago to possibly be in my list for the next couple of years.

*Overall Special Mention Award: Pokemon Sword (Switch) (https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/switch/259372-pokemon-sword)

I already talked about this game before. So I won't talk about it all that much again. The complaints about this game are all BS whiny ass baby complaints as far as I'm concerned. This was the most fun Pokemon game I've played since X/Y. I had so much more fun playing this than I did S/US combined. It was just overall better in general than Gen. 7/Alola by leaps and bounds as well. Every time I played this game I had fun. The DLC was great too. Particularly Crown Tundra. As I said before... CALYREX NEW BEST LEGEND.

Am I doing all of this just to spite the whiny ass baby complainers? I suppose I'd be lying if I said I wasn't. But, for me at least, this game deserves the overall special mention

Do I recommend? Yep. Like I said before. Ignore all the BS whiny ass baby complaints about it. The game is extremely fun and fine. But do whatever the hell you want. I've stopped caring at this point.

    #3: Tales of Zestiria (PS4) (https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/168513-tales-of-zestiria)

In a similar manner to what I talked about before... I honestly don't know why I stopped playing this series. I clearly shouldn't have. Lesson learned I suppose. In a similar manner to Pokemon Sword... this game is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It really isn't. Although I suppose I should say for me it wasn't. But I just really don't think it's as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Yes the camera angels get really bad a lot during battles and always at the worst possible time... but I just sort of learned to adapt to it and deal with it. The system is bit convoluted and hard to understand as well. But again I adapted and dealt with it. Other than that... the characters are great, the story is great, and it was just an overall great game.

Even my frustration with the over-the-top ridiculous difficulty at times during main game final boss and endgame DLC dungeon... I just couldn't make myself hate it. I really couldn't. I refused to hate it because of that. In the end, as far as I'm concerned, this game was great and isn't as bad and everyone claims it is. Whether or not you choose to try it out for yourself is up to you entirely.

Do I recommend? Yes. But clearly I'm in the minority when it comes to this game as well. Go ahead. Listen to everyone that claims this game is bad and you should skip it. Miss out. Lose out. See if I care (I don't)

    #2 (GOTY Runner-Up): Tales of Berseria (PS4) (https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/167071-tales-of-berseria)

What's this? 2 Tales of games in a row?! INCONCEIVABLE!! Yeah well they deserve it as far as I'm concerned. Particularly this one. This one was probably the most unique game I played all year and definitely the best Tales of game I played since Symphonia. Though that doesn't really say all that much considering the fact that Symphonia and the sequel everyone hates are literally the only other Tales of games I've played. You actually technically play as villains in this game. That's why it's so unique. There aren't a lot of games out there where you play as the villains. I haven't played something like that in a LONG time, possibly ever.

They're lovable though. That's what makes it so great. The battles are chaotic fun too. Characters are great and hilarious as are the skits and the story is pretty damn good too and gets even better around mid to endgame. It was just an overall fantastic experience that I don't think I'll be forgetting anytime soon. This got me back into the Tales of franchise and now I'm never leaving it ever again. Sure not all the games are created equally but considering that I like most of the games I play (with exceptions) I don't think this franchise will be disappointing me anytime soon.

Do I recommend? Yes. It's a fantastic experience that should be viewed by all. But again do whatever you want.

Game of the Year 2020 (#1)
    Final Fantasy Type-0 HD (https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/ps4/805874-final-fantasy-type-0-hd)

For the first time since Final Fantasy XV... the Final Fantasy franchise has taken my GOTY crown once again.

GOOD GOD. THIS GAME. WHY THE HELL DID I NOT PLAY THIS EARLIER?! WHEN IT CAME OUT?! SERIOUSLY?! WHY?!

Honestly... I wish I knew the answer to that myself. I suppose it doesn't matter now. But still. Regardless... EVERYTHING about this game was FREAKING AMAZING. Soundtrack was A+, Gameplay was A+, Story was A+, characters were A+, THE ENTIRE EXPERIENCE WAS JUST A+++++++

It's also kind of like a fusion between Final Fantasy and Persona. Because it's a group of high school students trying to save the world. You even get 'Free Time' to do whatever you want between missions and stuff. I mean sure... the ending... is sad and middle finger-ish... but I couldn't hate the game for it. I just couldn't do it. Because for one, it made sense, and for two, everything else in this game was just so god damn good I couldn't bring myself to hate it just for the ending. Which is pretty much the exact opposite of FFXV. I was hoping for something better for the conclusion for that game. My reward? A middle finger. Which I didn't appreciate at all. That wasn't the case for this game though. Not at all. I loved it too much to let something like that bring it down for me.

I can't praise this game enough. I really can't. This was probably the best Final Fantasy game I've played in a VERY LONG TIME. Possibly OF ALL TIME. That's how good it was and how much I liked it. It's just unfortunate that the teaser of a sequel at the end will never be made due to the team breakup. I'D PLAY A SEQUEL IN A HEARTBEAT. But oh well. Maybe it's better off just being a one-off. Considering how damn good this game is and was and how much I liked it. Nothing really came close to beating this game. It really didn't. I thought Tales of Berseria might come close, and I guess it did, but this game was just so damn good that even Berseria couldn't overtake it.

Either way... I can only hope stuff like Final Fantasy 7 Remake (Part 1) and Final Fantasy XVI are half as good as this game. We shall see I suppose.

Do I recommend? YES. GO PLAY IT. RIGHT GOD DAMN NOW. Or don't. Miss out. ON POSSIBLY THE BEST FINAL FANTASY GAME EVER.

So yeah that's it. That's my list for Game of the Year 2020. It's just my personal list and opinion though. Clearly.

On Wednesday I'll make a post about the anime that I'm looking forward to watching in 2021.

Hi me again with another 'I shouldn't be posting it this early but I'm doing it anyway' post.

So anime was kinda 'meh' (for me at least) in 2020. Do I blame COVID? Slightly yes and slightly no.

That should not be the case at all for 2021. So far... from what I've seen at least... 2021 should be FIRE in terms of anime.

Here are the animes I'm looking forward to watching in 2021. They probably have MAL pages by now but I won't be posting them. Also keep in mind that my preference is to watch the english dub versions so hopefully they'll either get simuldubbed or the dubs will come ASAP

Attack on Titan: The Final Season
    My Hero Academia Season 5
    Dr. Stone Season 2
The World Ends With You: The Animation (practically a requirement in order for me to play my pipe dream that became reality. But it's fine. It's not like I wasn't going to watch it)
    Shaman King (2021 reboot)
    Tokyo Mew Mew (2021 reboot)
Bleach conclusion (it's getting an anime but with the way Viz Media is who knows how soon the english dub will actually come)

There's probably more that I'm forgetting but those are the most notable. At some point I guess I should watch the InuYasha sequel as well. lol

Also depending on how many of those get simuldubbed... I may officially join the simuldub group. Or Funimation's one anyway. I haven't watched a single simuldubbed show yet but if animes like TWEWY anime, Shaman King 2021 reboot and Tokyo Mew Mew 2021 reboot all get simuldubbed... yeah... that'll make the decision for me. lol

It's also possible that finishing some of the shows that had 'ongoing' in my list end up showing up in my final list for 2021. So stuff like Assassination Classroom, Fairy Tail, Fire Force S2, etc.

We'll see either way. But for now... for me personally... 2021 will be making up for 2020 BIG TIME in terms of anime.

This will likely be my final post in this thread due to the fact that there's no reason to post in this anymore after tomorrow as it will be the new year and everyone will want to act like this year never existed lol. Not that I can't blame them or I won't do the same but I'm just saying.

    2020? What's that? o_O

Either way now that I've stated the animes I'm looking forward to next year it's time to do the same for video games. Although there are sort of 2 different lists for video games. What I'm actually looking forward to in terms of what's coming out and what I'll actually end up playing. The reason for this is due to my continuing year+ video game backlog that I can't seem to make a dent in even with playing all of my games more than I normally can due to deciding to stay safe at home since really March (though I didn't really start playing my game more often until a couple of months ago)

I mean maybe I'll make a larger dent since I've been allowed to stay safe at home now until March with COVID still rampant and vaccines not readily available but a lot of my games are pretty lengthy so it feels like even that won't do much again. lol.

We'll see either way but let's start with the games that are releasing next year that I'm looking forward to getting. I will play them. Obviously. It just may not be until 2022 at minimum lol.

Persona 5: The Phantom Strikers (PS4)
    Balan Wonderworld (PS4)
    Nier Replicant ver.1.22474487139 (PS4)
Digimon Survive (PS4) (unknown if it will come out next year but hopefully it will)
Biomutant (PS4) (unknown if it will come out next year)
Tales of Arise (PS4) (unknown if it will come out next year)
Final Fantasy XVI (PS5) (DEFINITE unknown if it will come out next year)
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (PS5)
    Stray (PS5) (CAT GAME!!)
    Playstation 5 in general

and here are the games that I'm looking forward to that I'll actually play next year

Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch Remastered (PS4)
Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom (PS4)
Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition (PS4)
    Nier Automata (PS4)
    Final Fantasy 7 Remake (Part 1) (PS4)
Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition (Switch; kind of a maybe on this one)
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel (PS4; another maybe but I might finally dive into this series hopefully next year)

There are others I'm not mentioning too. Mostly Switch games. Stuff like Hollow Knight and the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon remake but both of those (especially Hollow Knight) are going to be more hard than fun so it's why I didn't mention them. I'm still extremely worried Hollow Knight will be so hard I'll just give up on it and drop it. I'll try not to let that happen but it's still a possibility unfortunately. We'll see.

Alright I'm done with this thread. I'll make another thread like this near the end of December of 2021 with another new list.

If you want to know who I think the favorites to win right now... well...

To be completely honest I feel like there's a strong possibility Fina Fantasy will win GOTY for me 2 years in a row. If I play Final Fantasy 7 Remake (Part 1) next year... that may put the final nail in the coffin for it like what happened when I played Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. It's biggest competition will likely be Nier Automata and possibly Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive assuming I play that next year. Those are who I think will be the favorites to win but unexpected things have happened before so we'll see

As for my guesses as to win AOTY I honestly have no idea. It depends on what I decide to watch. With stuff like Steins Gate still in my backlog it's possible it wins. It also depends on how quickly english dubs come and how soon I can start watching some of the anime I want to watch next year. So if they come quickly or get simuldubbed stuff like TWEWY anime, Shaman King 2021 reboot, Tokyo Mew Mew 2021 reboot and Bleach anime conclusion are also all real possibilities. But honestly I have no idea who might win AOTY 2021 for me lol

Anyway I'm done with this thread. See you next year!! Hopefully 2021 will be significantly better than 2020 was. Which is really putting it lightly. lol
