I had to trade my Nintendo Switch to replace my PS4 after someone spilled water on my PS4 (I'll replace my Nintendo Switch later!!)
    Right now I'm playing:

Destiny 2 (the grind is REAL)

Bloodborne (I wish I could get a Bloodborne anime, I can get the comic books but I can't get enough BLOODBORNE)

Everspace (I never figured a space-piloting rougelike RPG would be this fun! You play as a clone of one of the doctors in the 24th century who went rouge and your trying to figure out who you are as you jump between sectors of the galaxy. You also have to repair your ships systems, maintain enough fuel to use your jump drive, AND NOT DIE IN BRUTAL DOGFIGHTS OUT IN SPACE!!)

Hollow Knight, 8th hardest Switch game...

I've played it and can recommend it. Sure, while it is difficult, if you've played a Soulsbornekiro or Metroidvania you know what your in for. Memorizing enemy attack patterns is simple (at least it is for me), the main struggle I had is mapping. Each time you venture to a new area, make it a point to have enough Geo to buy the map from the NPC Connofer.

The art style is GORGEOUS, as everything is hand drawn. The story is presented in the trademark Soulsbornekiro fashion, vague at first and, once you unravel more along the journey, kinda depressing. The lore is well thought out, and for what is supposed to be a kids game it can get kinda deep at times.

I wouldn't let the difficulty deter you from buying the game and playing it, but if your confident in your own ability wait for it to go on sale again (I got it on switch for half off at one point). After playing this there is another game you might like if your into Norse Mythology called Jotun that also has a great story and some gorgeous hand-drawn visuals with a little bit of difficulty.

And I've gotta give you some credit. Most people don't like admitting that they don't like anything difficult, even to themselves. And to be honest I used to be the same way, but after playing Dark Souls I realized that difficulty in the video games I play lead to the growth that I have as a gamer and it made me better for it. Sure, Bloodborne and Dark Souls make me feel like I'm busting a brick wall with my head, but at the end of the day if I can attempt a boss a million times and kill that boss on the million-and-first attempt I can play any game that I set my mind to. And if I can play any game that I set my mind to, I can do anything in life if I apply myself.

Gaming doesn't just entertain a person, it leads to the growth and enrichment of a person. I'd of NEVER passed World History without the interest in history I got from Assassin's Creed, nor would I have put myself on the road to completing high school after dropping out if I never played Dark Souls. I'd of probably been in jail for punching someone if it hadn't of been for a game like DOOM to take out my rage on demons, and all of this doesn't take into account that gaming lets you traverse worlds like nothing else.

So pick up Hollow Knight, embrace the difficulty and begin the path of growth. Trust me, you will die a great deal, but if you analyze your deaths and see where you went you went wrong you'll not only grow as a gamer, but also as a person!

I appreciate that. Really. I do. But it's like the more I try to research Hollow Knight on my own the more I only come across 'it's hard. it's hard. IT'S REALLY FREAKING HARD.' and that still turns me away from it.

I tried being competitive with a fighting game once and I was never able to figure out what I was doing wrong and no one helped me with that. Now obviously this isn't a fighting game or that somewhat 'do it on your own' BS mindset most fighting game communities seem to have but it still turns me away from it.

Admittedly I've played other hard stuff like Persona 3 FES 'The Answer' (bosses took several attempts) and Crash N. Sane Trilogy (levels and really everything in general took several attempts until I memorized the level pretty much) and I was rewarded in Crash by being able to get all gems in all games sans for one gem in Crash 3 (the speedrunning one) I don't know if it's similar to that and yeah I put myself through it but it was different because it was Crash. I guess.

The more I look into it the more I get turned away because of difficulty but I'll still keep what you said in mind.

Due to COVID-19 and quarantine, I am at home all the time and in order to not lose mind, I play various online games, Dota 2, WoW, COD, ALchemy Game, Tank Trouble, Overwatch, etc.
I hope quarantine ends soon :D

I've finished MEGA TROLL ASS Kingdom Hearts 3 (including Re:Mind) so I've officially moved on to Yo Kai Watch 3. Because I NEED to after that BS I just went through.

I finished Yo Kai Watch 3 and my Nintendo 3DS in general last night.

Really fun game honestly. The tactical stuff will probably help prepare me for Digimon Survive. At least a little anyway. A little help is better than no help at all.

I got the Final Fantasy Yo Kai's in the game too. So I'm pretty much satisfied. RIP 3DS. I knew thee well.

Regardless... I'm officially moving back to the Switch and will be playing Yoshi's Crafted World.

I'm starting to think that I'm getting through my backlog too quickly. Which is what I was afraid of happening when this pandemic started. So I may try to force myself to slow down a little bit. How I'll do that... well... I'm not sure yet.

Regardless... I finished Yoshi's Crafted World last night. Cute game. Last world was pretty dark for a Yoshi game though.

So I'm back to the PS4 now and have already started playing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy. I will be attempting the Platinum because it seemed doable for me. We'll see how that goes I guess.

It's been quite a LONG time since I've played the original Trilogy of Ace Attorney games though so it'll probably be good to revisit them.

I finished Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy last night and even managed to pull off getting the Platinum too!!

So I went ahead and started playing the next game in my list. Let's just say... I'll be 'filled with determination' lol.

Yep. I started playing Undertale (Switch version). Don't even try to get me to do Genocide. After seeing what that mode is like... NO. JUST NO. To freaking hard. So it'll be Pacifist only for me.

Well that didn't take long. Although I suppose it is technically a short game.

Yeah... I finished Undertale (Switch version) last night. Pacifist & True Pacifist. I'll admit that this game was probably the funniest game I've ever played. Other than that... I can't really say much else. I get why everyone likes it so much though. But for me, personally, I wouldn't put it in a 'top tier' of games I've ever played. Possibly not even in a top tier of games I've played this year (we'll see though. It's only July)

The reason may be because I don't really like 'bullet hells' and aren't good at them either. Still funny, cute & unique though that's for sure.

I fully intend on starting Final Fantasy Type 0 HD tonight.

Mechwarrior 5 heavily modded. Honestly always liked the more warlike mech design over the gundam-esqe counterparts from Japan.

Well... I finished Final Fantasy Type 0 HD. I also got the Platinum trophy for it. I have no idea how I missed this game still. I really don't. I just don't get it. Obviously it doesn't matter now but still.

GOOD GOD. THIS GAME. ALL OF IT. JUST ALL OF IT.

Great story, great characters, great gameplay, great battle system, great music, EVERYTHING in this game was just AMAZING. It's pretty much instantly become the favorite to win GOTY 2020 for me.

I'm sad to see it go honestly. But go it shall...

Well... it's finally time everyone. Lots of negativity about it. But I will finally be playing it for myself, and making my own decisions about it. I have finally started playing Pokemon Sword for myself.

I'm not against trying a Raid but I need to get a good-ish team first and get them to decent levels first obviously. But I'll see what I can do if anyone wants to do one with me. lol

Team as of this post: Shinra the Scorbunny and Crow the Rookidee.

Ive loved all FF games sao much atsmophere and story driven some timess ive found combat annoyng but thats it

As for me Im replaying Metro Exodous, Its an amzingly detailed game, full of amazing charcters that you actually care about, I know this game was quite a leap from the others but IMO they did this to perfection. Story rich , atmospheric with plenty of action, every step you take could be your last

I'll be completely honest... that didn't take as long as I was kind of hoping/thinking it would. Oh well I guess.

I finished Pokemon Sword & Isle of Armor to my liking. As far as my thoughts about it... well... pretty much the exact opposite of everyone else clearly. 9/10 the whiny baby complaints were utter BS nonsense. Was the story bad? Sure I guess. Though, IMO, it got DAMN good around endgame. Did some backgrounds and environments have PS2 like graphics? Yes. BUT EVERYTHING ELSE LOOKED AMAZING. Allow me to quote someone on GameFAQs I used to know that applies to this game as well. 'Story doesn't matter. Gameplay does' which pretty much describes Pokemon Sword/Shield TO A T. This was the most fun I've had playing a Pokemon game since probably X/Y. Much better than Alola/Gen 7 that it really wasn't even close for me at all.

But what the hell do I know? o_O

Regardless I've started playing my first 'Tales of' game in OVER A DECADE. Tales of Berseria is first. I've got quite a few of those to play after recommendations got me back into this series. The last one I played was the Tales of Symphonia sequel that everyone hated (except me. AGAIN.) So am I worried? A little I guess. All I can do is try my best I suppose. 3 hours in... and GOOD GOD. THIS GAME. HOW DID I NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS ONE EITHER?!

It's just so damn good so far. I had trouble getting myself to stop playing it so I could go to bed. lol. HELP. I'M ENJOYING BEING A VILLAIN.

Hello! I am currently engrossed in an RPG mobile game called Perfect World Mobile. It's really pretty and mostly a Chinese style game. Free avatar customization, Homesteads, Marriage ect… I really enjoy it!

Still playing Smite. But you know what the best part is? I'm being paid to coach the high school team for the regional league! Wish it were a state league, but supposedly not enough teams for that yet. Its a shame because both rocket league and LoL have state leagues. Probably could have had some state championships already haha.

After I finished Tales of Berseria I stalled with Crown Tundra DLC from Pokemon Sword because I was worried by being worn out on the 'Tales of' series with another one being next. It only took me about 3 days to do everything in it that I wanted to do.

Admittedly though... Max Lair is as addicting as Among Us so I might still do that every once in awhile. If you want to do that with me badly enough... contact me either on the forums or Discord so we can set something up. I'm not against it even though I'm not the biggest fan of it either.

Either way I literally had nothing else better to do so I have officially started playing Tales of Zestiria. I was only able to play it for an hour though. I've heard this game is... bad. To put it nicely. But I tend to love the games that most others hate so I'm not all that worried. We'll see either way.
