I bought my first manga when I was 16. Like many parents in America, mine didn't approve of me watching anime or reading manga. I started buying them out of spite against my mother since she wanted to oppress me. I had already been reading them at the public library for a few years already. I think the first Manga I actually read was actually Akira. It was so big that I had thought it was a book. But after picking it up and flipping through it I found that it was a manga. That's when I really started reading manga.

p.s. Samet, if you want some help on your English, feel free to ask. Myself and a few others here on Dubs are pretty proficient English speakers and I am an English Tutor. I just notice that you have some syntax errors and trouble formulating a correct sentence and I want to help you if you want help.

The first manga I ever read was either Nabari no Ou or School Rumble when I was 12, some of my favorites include Dengeki Daisy (which I sooooo want to be adapted into an anime!), Lone Wolf and Cub, Monster, and Imadoki.

When I was in 6th grade I picked up Marmalade Boy and Kodocha. I fell in love with both of them. So I read them all very quickly. In high school I read Tail of the Moon. I stopped reading manga for a while though. Now I'm back in the swing of it. I read Paradise Kiss, Another, and the Wolf Children manga last year. I'm reading Orange currently. It's so cute!

While searching for hentai doujinshi of The Ambition of Oda Nobuna I happened upon a scene from the actual manga and started reading it.

Then out of boredom I decided to start reading Fairy Tail up to the point where the anime is currently. I don't want to spoil myself so I'll stop there.

I don't really plan on reading manga in the future. I mostly just wanted to see the differences between the Fairy Tail anime and manga and what scenes were removed, changed, or censored.

I used to frequent a forum way back when I was in middle school and saw a lot of forum posts on the Naruto section of the forums. A lot of the other members were discussing "manga" and, to my confusion at the time, had no idea what the hell they were talking about

It's a bit of an awkward story, but that's how I first happened upon it.

I started getting into Manga about roughly 2014... but I started reading more heavily about late 2015 to block out everyone around mii. Excuses for people to be quiet!

I have to admit I don't quite remember when I started and gotten into the whole Manga scene after I discovered Anime. It could of been the same time in my teens but who knows, all I remember is one time reading a Manga I got from my schools libaray. Sadly I don't even remember the title of the book but I know I grew a fondness with it after reading my first one.
