I think she is but anyway it makes sens for glen to go I mean they already killed Tyreese, Negan is a crazy ass mo fo, I font know of it will be glen, as hes progressed a lot in terms of character development then again same for Tyreese, I think its gonna be based on whose the least popular and valuable character at the end of the day, and it would really screw up Maggie due to the fact of what all shes lost..

No, she's too busy crying from losing her filler character sister xD Maybe the real reason why she's this sad is because she's pregnant but doesn't want to tell yet. She also still has to try to kill herself any time now.
I just don't believe the makers of the tv show have the guts to kill Daryl. They probably rather make Negan like the governor, a pussy compared to his comic self.

Yeah I didn't think she would attempt suicide in the show. She thought she lost Beth once already and already dealt with it. This is just her mourning a second time. Or maybe because she was so focused on finding Glenn she never mourning Beth properly in the first place. Before last weeks episode I was thinking it would be switched to Sasha because she just lost her love interest and her brother in a matter or a week or two. And Maggie always seems stronger than her comic counterpart. And after last weeks episode where she says she's not sure if she can make it I'm thinking she might try it soon.

    @Sporadic @sayWut @Heizengard

A whole episode focussed on Aaron getting the group to Alexandria. I was hoping we would get a peek inside, but that's too much to ask i guess. Would have been a nice ending scene for this ep to see children running around playing instead of just hearing them. Abraham finally seems to get into the role of Rick's right hand. To find out whether or not Aaron was telling the truth he didn't ask Daryl, but asked Abraham instead. This is good development.

Hm, so some things were very simiiar, but other things were completely different. They took driving through a herd from a different point in time in the comic. I found the forest adventure kind of unnecessary. In the panel to screen for this ep they say ''Correct me if I’m wrong, but I also think this is the first time Rick encounters a massive herd.'' Idk, but i'd say he encountered one in the first episode/first issue in Atlanta. That one was pretty massive.

I do hope we get to meet Heath, i think we will. What is Alexandria without Heath?[/spoier]

What he saw in Atlanta was pretty huge. And they were funneled into narrow streets which makes them a larger threat since you essentially have nowhere to run.

It's been almost 2 years since the last post. Any Walking Dead watchers still here?
2nd part of season 7 is almost starting.

Be careful reading spoilers, they might contain spoilers from the comics.

Dang. I forgot all about this thread. With the exception of episode 1, this 7a is a little boring. I understand they have to character build but a lot of the character building I don't care about. Don't care about Daryl, don't care about Tara, don't care about the Hilltop very much.

Hell, didn't know this thread existed. Maybe y'all were keeping out because you don't like me? Ah, whatever. I watch The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead. I love it all the way up to season 6. Season 7.... well I gotta watch the rest of it before I make any judgments on if it was worth it or not.

The Daryl story was annoying with that annoying tune and totally agreed about Tara. The last ep with Negan killing Spencer was brilliant.
Feel free to join our conversation :)

I'm actually expecting alot from the 2nd part of season 7.

A lot of people I talked to were disappointed in the first half of season 7. Like I mentioned before, I'm gonna have to see the rest before I say anything. Hopefully, it'll be worth the wait.

I wasn't really disappointed tho. I really liked how Jeffrey Dean Morgan played Negan. Maybe that took away the negatives. I did think the first ep was dragged out too much but the 2nd beating made up for that xD

I like the episode with the interaction between Negan and Carl. It made viewers like and hate him, at the same time. My dad and I were talking about the show one day, he's only seen the first episode (season 1), and he asked me if it was your typical zombie flick. I told him that it was more about how humans adapted in the apocalypse and how they basically how the not only try to survive, but how they interact towards each other. How some survivors try to help others, some kill and steal, some try to take control, and some who want to be left alone. I said, and I quote the tagline of one season: "Fight the dead, fear the living." Negan, The Governor, the Terminus cannibals, the wolves have shown this. To me, that's what makes this show great. It's just humans versus zombies, it's also humans versus humans. Some try to remain human, and some become monsters, worse than zombies.

Yeah that's how the walking dead differs from other zombie series/movies. They also don't like to show zombies as pure monsters, but as things that used to be human. In the comic one artist was fired because he drew the walkers too monster-like. The artist drawing now, Charlie Adlard, draws them with some kind of sad expression on their face because of what happened to them. I think that's brilliant.
They also like to make the living character realise how sad it is, also for the zombies. Like Rick saying "i'm sorry this happened to you" to the bicycle zombie in the pilot episode.
And like you said about fighting the living. Eventually you get the zombies under control and humans will act as we know them. They want control. It's a very realistic setting.
It's sad when people turn down this show just because it's about a zombie apocalypse.
