    We have embedded the chat on the right side of the forum index. It's now located under the social media block and above the merch shop block. We're hoping this will get more forum regulars involved with the Chatango side of the community.

    I like this. Question though can we embed are Facebook Page into the Social Media? Currently we only have Twitter. Any other Social Media means we have should be duly noted as well I think. Let me know what your think about the idea.​

    Well, well. Isn't this different, or not... Honestly I didn't even see it there, I scrolled right on by without even noticing it. I guess it will allow people to fulfil their wish to post small nothing bits and have a chat immediately easier.
    I think I'll mostly stick the the forum, we'll see.

    Are you referring to the block on the forums sidebar?

    Yeah this was always a stink among some of the community if I remember. Some feared it would detour from forum activity if the chat was embedded on the forum. Now, the chatango is just one less click away, not much effort to use it was removed. I think if people care enough to be that active in the chat they already are. Now putting it on the forum this time helps on many other levels. An interwoven community helps self-sustain itself. People tend to ask questions a lot in chatango and I'm hoping with it now being on the forum others may see it and answer their question. It also helps other staff keep an eye on whats going on with the chat, forum staff tend to be less bias in an environment where they haven't already sided with their friends. It is a commonly used place that the website regulars frequent, people too lazy to register on the forum and voice their concerns, issues or suggestions.

    Strange, wonder why Facebook isn't there for me then. Tsk well never mind then if it's there it's there. Something must be off on my end. It wouldn't be the first time.​

    Yes, I see it as well.

    Although, I've a few issues with use of the actual buttons (my pressing of the like button proves fruitless).

    Also, nice -- I've been awaiting this for a minute.

    I concur in that for the connect buttons does not bear fruit, at least to for me.

    Im a bit for and against in this.

    I, for one, didnt really know we had a more 'chat' orientated side of this site.

    I don't like it for one reason - You need to log into a different account to access it which takes away from the site especially if a current member has had an previous account to connect to people wont be able to connect chat accounts without investigating. It will draw interest away from the forums and more to the chat side of things.

    I feel like creating and embedding the sites own chat function would be much more profitable in the way of memberships/donation etc. to the site. Because society now-a-days works on pretty much the instantaneous side of technology that providing fast services with instant chat services would only enhance the site. Off locating chat will take a lot away from the site.
