For some reason got really reminiscent of old school Toonami days. I learned a lot about how much they cared and how passionate they were in bringing us quality animation. Of course it wasn't just that, the short video trailer promo's with Moltar (He was around before Tom) and Tom gave so much that well I may have taken for granted or didn't understand back in the day. Filled to the brim with life lessons, motivation, inspiration, believing in yourself, the list goes on and on. To that note here are some of Toonami's old school retro videos. Video quality may be a bit lacking but that's not what's important.

Toonami wasn't as prominent in Singapore. I saw it in the form of a special segment on Cartoon Network once, but it was never really made a big deal aside from it being a 3-4 hour slot of reruns. I heard you get anime on Toonami in America, which didn't happen for us since we only got anime-ish cartoons during the Toonami segment, like Megas XLR or Teen Titans.

Thankfully, I got my fill of anime in the early days (way before I knew how to stream it online during college) through Animax Asia, which was like the only anime channel you can get on cable. They have both Japanese and (only for certain anime) Singaporean English dubs, but they don't have English subtitles, only Mandarin ones, which was annoying, so I didn't miss it much.

i was going to youtube to check the last thing i watched but then i saw a video i liked and instinctively clicked it, i remembered about this thread after the vid finished

and its a bonus being it a music video.

now about the ad, id just have to give slow claps of amazement for them. we here cant even do an animated ad right! i liked the mcdonalds ad coz it both brings a happy cycle story or a depressing cycle story depending on which mood you are.

 

Is this a actual Dragon Caught on Tape? I'll let you all decide for yourselves.

It's like that "Pokemon vs. Digimon" battle, two franchises where the fanbase called each other a ripoff. lol I never watched Jojo before though so I couldn't care less.
