What Anime Are You Currently Watching / Recently Finished?

Just finished marathoning Sidonia no Kishi both seasons. Absolutely loved ^^ Now it's time to watch Durarara maybe :?

 

I'm trying to watch 5 new anime by the end of December.

Just finished Amnesia. It was a little below average for me. The main character was bland and so were her enemies plus the ending failed to explain many questions. The male characters were nicely written though, makes since because it's based off an otome game. I bought the game for 90% on steam because good sale and my friends assure me the game is much better.

About 5 episodes away from finishing Yona of the Dawn. The anime is good but I know they will not get to my favorite parts of the manga in that amount of time. I really liked the second OP. Also they still were able to make some good episodes.

Watching Glass Mask (2005). It's a remake of an older should series. I almost dropped this because the first half of episode 1 was really boring but I wanted to watch at least the whole 1st episode. Glad I did that. It got really good fast. I'm on episode 32, there are around 50 episodes. I enjoy that even though the anime is a remake the animators are still using a somewhat older style. You can see more eyelashes on characters in this series because of how the shoujo manga style used to be drawn with.

Other anime I've started are My Little Monster, Beyond the Boundaries, and Bakemonogatari. I will definenty finish Beyond the Boundaries but I'm still deciding between which of the other two I should watch to make it a good 5. I like the main characters in My Little Monster more but the side characters in Bakemonogatari more. I might just try and watch both. I'll just have to see what happens.

 

Just finished watching the two seasons of black butler and now watching the ovas. They are very different.

Diamond no Ace [both seasons]

After so long, I've finally finished Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS and Vivid, man if Maddy were here right now she would kill me or something like that, but oh well, now the next anime I'll watch is, oh boy, it's Gokukoku no Brynhildr, also known as Brynhildr in the Darkness

 

The Count of Monte Cristo. Confusing, but sort of intriguing

 

I'm now currently watching 'jigoku shoujo season two'. Many people would probably know it more as 'hell girl'. I have re-watched diabolik lovers as my friend had not seen it before.
Anime night... watching diabolic lovers with a friend is exhausting when they keep asking what happens... If you tell them, it ruins the entire anime for them.

 

I just finished Monster Musume.

I have to say, I thought it was just going to be another mindless harem ecchi that I needed to cross off my list of "stuff I need to watch just so I can say that I've watched it." But, I actually found the show to be really funny and quite charming.

So much so that it may well be one of my favorite anime. Not top five, mind you, but up there.

It's been... a while since I've posted here. >_> I'm sorry for those who've been waiting all this time for a reply to their post. I'm also sorry to say odds are it'll be a while longer before I get the chance to go back and find your posts and reply to them. Prolly within 1st quarter of Jan if all goes well.

As for the anime I've watched... too much to list, so I won't. I will at least say I've caught up with Pokémon (Had nearly 200 eps to watch) and am almost finished with Ygo! Zexal II. I've finished a good number of anime, re-watched some anime and plan to watch some more old anime I got on DVD like Kämpfer. I've also dropped an anime or 2 in the process. (whatever that anime was with the term "Giftia" in it) and well, I've put a few on hold as well.

Yeah, I really enjoyed that aniem and it's 50+ mini short eps and it certainly wasn't just another "Harem". lol I've grown tired of seeing the same old same old from harem and even at times for ecchi anime and ecchi anime is 1 of my fav genre so that's saying a LOT! lol I would soo watch a continuation or some form of new MS anime. lol

 

I'm working through the plethora of shorts, now. =P

I definitely wouldn't mind a second season.

 

Just finished watching Jigoku shoujo - two mirrors in sub. The site I usually go to, just got an update so the files are not working properly to download the third season and I can't find the third season anywhere. So now, I'm watching RWBY. I'm really enjoying it. XD

 

Just finished Overlord. I really liked it, but it definitely needs another season or two.

And now I'm watching Bakemonogatari.

 

Started watching Heavy object, and wrapping up triage X

 

Currently still rewatching Naruto and started the Story of Saiunkoku. I'm enjoying very much so far. It's hilarious. xD

 

Finished Gokukoku no Brynhildr, Tiger & Bunny: The Rising, Kyoukai no Kanata: Mirai-hen and Bayonetta: Bloody Fate

 

Oh the irony, I just started an anime that starts on Christmas and also had a new years episode, I just started Hayate the Combat Butler, man I haven't had a good laughter since Gintama, also caught up with the current Cardfight!! Vanguard series

 

after a while of playing school idol, i thought of giving the series a watch. being at rank 55 re-playing songs just feels to repetitive.
im now at ep 7 and it just gave meaning to the songs.
