I am sure there are people out there who really like or know some interesting phrases from games, whether they are said from characters or announcers. Let's see what kind of things catch our attention.

I can quote you every single line from Star Fox 64, that game is a quote machine!

Damn I love how quotable this game is! How many times did I try to beat my records in this? Hundreds and hundreds of playthroughs.

Hahahah Command and Conquer was Awesome! was thinking of actually replaying this game!

 

i remembered of this game when i woke up earlier. then the chills of hearing that one came back. xD
i want to complete the campaign of it.

I think I might actually still have the original disc of Command and Conquer Red Alert. The one with that Tanya Chick in it... she was that bomb Literally

 

C&C, an old strategic favorite of mine! That had plenty of little quips from the soldiers. I refer to C&C Generals in particular. Loved hearing all those quotes.

USA Anti-Armor soldier- "Let's go pop a tank!"
GLA SCUD launcher unit- "Shall I press the button?"
Chinese Flamethrower tank- "It is very hot in here!"

 

Not exactly a phrase so much as a whole conversation, but it really needs sharing. From a little indie game called Defender's Quest: Valley of The Forgotten:

" Water zombies, you say? This sounds like a job for... Slak- purveyor of aquatic death! The Mariner of Mutilation! The Boatman of Bloodletting! The Sailor of Slice-ification!"

"The Seaman of Self-platitude." *eye-roll*

"I sail the Ocean of Awesome; your feeble quips are lost in its glorious roar."

"If you're ever finished wallowing in the Sea of Self-praise, we might actually go fight some revenant."

Also, from the same game:
