I also found the story dull. Maybe that's why I never bothered to buy the game again after the first one got caught in my brother's PS2. We did have to buy a new PlayStation though. I can't even remember the battle system.

My brother and I kept repeating how weird the extras sounded when saying "Lord Norton." Honestly all I took away from that game was that line. I forgot most of it. I can handle repetitive game play but I remember zero about the story since it left so little an impression on me. Granted it's been over ten years but I remember no one's name except Lord Norton and he wasn't even a big boss fight.

@youngnozomi Haha! He's right at the beginning of the game!! I haven't really had much of a chance to play anymore of it recently, due to work, plus going away for the weekend.

I've also been playing a little more Pokemon Soul Silver. It's a pretty decent game so far, some of the changes to the original seem a little odd. But, I do like that the gyms are now actually a challenge to get through like a mini-Zelda-dungeon.

In the middle of a run through Freedom Planet right now. If you don't know it, it's an old-school, Sonic-inspired indie 2D platformer, and quite challenging for a first-time player. Great soundtrack, too!

I have the PS3 international version, which was a re-release of the Xbox 360 exclusive, from what I understood, and included options to have English or Japanese voices (instead of just an English dubbed release in the US). I don't know if they did any touch ups or not between the original release and the international version, but the lip syncing didn't look off as far as I could tell. I'm tempted to borrow my parent's PS3 to play it again, at least until I can get my PS3 fixed.

@Vashnik trust me, the original PS2 version is so out of sync.

Doh! I'm thinking of the 4th one. lol Too many Star Ocean games to remember. I have the first and second one on PSP. I forgot the 3rd (Till The End of Time) was on PS2, not PS3.

Edit: I watched the video, but I guess I'm so used to the animation and audio that I don't actually see the bad syncing issues.

Played the prologue for StarCraft 2: Legacy of the Void. Still re-working my way through Dark Souls. Playing the DLC, for the first time.

Currently hooked on Aura Kingdom. Too bad I can only play it about once a week. Other then that I started Persona 4 again.

Cortex Command is one I am stuck on.

It has taken a 10 years to make, and still in progress now. Unstable, but fun. Mods are not necessary, but definitely make the game more fun (and unstable). For me, the addictive part are the physics and destructible landscape.

Also, Killing Floor and Just Cause 2 current ones for me.

I'm back to playing Final Fantasy XIV, in anticipation of the 3.0 update (and the fact my computer broke). But I've been meaning to buy Disgaea 4 and/or Tales of Zestiria, the second I get enough money. Can anyone vouch for the hype of either of those? I heard Zestiria was good, but by only one source.

Also, I'm curious. It's been a long while since beta, but are healers still absolutely broken in this game? If they haven't removed the stackable healing DOT move, and/or capped skill cooldown percentages, then I'd assume not. It was a really well designed game as far as gameplay and story went, but every single class all the way to open beta got to be completely overpowering. But if they fixed that, I might come back to play it. Surely the level cap is past 80 by now, yes?

@Roy-Blue I have no idea. I played as a healer for a bit, but I didn't play long enough to team up with anyone. They added three new classes though that seem broken to hell and back. I'm having fun with the game at least. Also I think level cap is still 80. I honestly don't know.
