Important Popunder Ads

JAN is now employing the use of popunder ads on our sites. This is something @sayWut was pushing me to do for awhile and now I have finally caved. Sadly other ad platforms just do not work as ad blocking is becoming very popular and sites that normally would be good will not partner with us because of our sites reputation. For example, Adsense on our forum pays out once every 3 months and there have been countless times when we have had to rely on donations to sustain the community and prevent the site from shutting down. Even in the case of Adsense there is certain areas of the forum it has to be turned off otherwise Adsense flags them. We have dedicated sponsors on Patreon and GFM but I hate asking people to help with the site when we get to points that we desperately need to make server payments. And this will fix all of that.

The yearly cost to run these sites is getting to be very high with over 120 domains (most of which are for domain security; variations of our domain name suffixes, and premium domain monopolization), $100 a month server costs, premium plugins, etc. And no room to expand our community. All of our sites are on the same server, we could use a better firewall, an upgrade on cloudflare, new sites in mind and lots more. We have one of the largest collections of dubbed anime that is available to download and stream at any time with staff who add or fix broken anime within a day or two after being requested. I felt it was time to finally push our ad platform because we owe it to ourselves after all of this hard work.

I apologize if any of you feel like this is unreasonable but with the amount of content we offer this only seems fair. I did protest this change for over a year but at this point the site needs the revenue.

If you have any issue with the ads please do not hesitate to report them. The forum and JustReviews will continue running Adsense and will not have popunders. If you would like to donate to have a "donor" account and no longer see ads, please send me a PM and I can help get you started.

 

First and second popunder is us. First popunder happens on justdubs. After the anime is picked it takes you to our sister site, justdubsanime, that houses all of our anime. There a second popunder happens. After that it is the mp4upload player. Yes, it is annoying, but they (like us) need to make money too. Sadly this is the cost for users to watch free anime. You've contributed a lot to the site so PM me and we can set you up with an account on JustDubsAnime that will block all of the ads. Otherwise just enable ad block on the site and that will be fine and probably easier.
