Microsoft Paint to be Deprecated

So according to Windows they will deprecate Paint in the Autumn update for Windows 10.

I just need some clarity on this (as I am not an expert on this business jargon), what does that mean for Microsoft Paint? Will it still be on my computer when I next update it in Autumn or not?

 

It will eventually be replaced with Paint 3D. I've got the creators update insider build*, and MS Paint is still accessible, but not listed in the start menu. Basically, what they're trying to do is phase it out using their new Paint 3D app and won't be updating MS Paint except for maybe security patches in any updates for Windows.

* The insider's build is likely the one they aim to push in Autumn, but they need it fine tuned by community feedback from insiders. Insiders get first access before the final update version becomes a public update.

 

Ah, so it will just sit on my computer and I can still use it. Regardless of updates. (obviously this computer will become slower over time, but yeah).

 

Between M.S. Paint and Paint 3d, I Like M.s. Paint a little better. Still trying to figure out Paint 3d.

Ah yes, Microsoft Paint. I think the last time I used it was in the fourth grade.

Wait...what? Outlook Express was in Windows 10 before the Fall Creator's update? I thought they got rid of that with Windows 8...

Anyways, you have your answer now. It'll still be available, even after the update.
